About Inland Family Dental

Inland Family Dental was founded in 2008 by Dr. Sarah Whitfield, who opened our flagship Riverside office with a simple goal: make excellent dental care feel like a visit to family. Fresh out of her residency, Dr. Whitfield set out to build a practice where patients were greeted by name, where treatment plans were explained in plain English, and where every member of the team genuinely cared about the person in the chair — not just the tooth being treated.

Word spread quickly across the Arlington neighborhood, and within a few years the Riverside office had grown into a thriving, multi-chair practice serving families across generations. In 2014, Dr. Michael Osei joined the team and helped open our second location in Temecula, bringing advanced restorative and implant dentistry to southwest Riverside County. Five years later, in 2019, Dr. Priya Chandran opened our third office in Redlands, extending our whole-family approach — including her signature kid-friendly “First Visit” program — into the San Bernardino Valley.

Today, all three offices remain family-owned and locally operated. We've grown from a single chair to three full-service practices and a team of dentists, hygienists, and staff who have, in many cases, been with us for over a decade. What hasn't changed is the philosophy Dr. Whitfield started with in 2008: gentle, thorough, honest dental care for every member of your family, at every stage of life.
